Vanessa interviewed Madonna University President, Dr. Michael Grandillo about his new appointment at the university. They talked about the history of the school and how Dr. Grandillo is the first lay president in the school's history. Madonna University has started a new billboard campaign with the slogan "Our degrees change lives". They discussed the campaign, as well as how the university offers a distinctive education that is rooted in Christian humanistic values. Dr. Grandillo explained how liberal arts, career prep, and service learning are the hallmarks of a Madonna education. Nearly 28,000 Madonna alumni are changing lives through their careers, thanks to their Madonna education in nursing, criminal justice, sign language studies, education, business and the arts. Also talked about was residence life, student life, athletics, internships and support services that ensure students’ success.
