Russian Warplanes 'Simulate Attack' on American Ship

Two Russian warplanes simulated an attack on an American guided missile destroyer Tuesday, according to an U.S. official.

In a report by Reuters, an official speaking anonymously said that the Sukhoi SU-24 warplanes flew so close that they created "wake in the water." The warplanes, which had no visible weaponry according to Reuters, were followed by seven passes from a Russian KA-27 Helix helicopter that was taking pictures of the USS Donald Cook.
