Should companies try to influence their employees on #Brexit vote?

It's dominated the news for weeks now but today actually marks the official start of the EU Referendum campaign. The opposing teams "Britain Stronger in Europe" and "Vote Leave" have been approved by the Electoral Commission, and the big vote will take take place in ten weeks' time on June 23rd. But is it the place of big companies to be advising their employees ahead of the big vote? Bombardier - a major employer in Belfast - has written to its 5,000 staff saying it would be "better for the company" if the UK remains in the EU.
