Phil Sayer 1953-2016

It was sad to read of the passing of one of my old friends and work mates Phil Sayer. Phil got me my first job at the BBC in Manchester after I'd worked with him in commercial radio.

In 1991 he helped me turn BBC Radio Manchester (or GMR as it was called at the time) into a commercial station for the breakfast show on 1st April.
