Staffs batsman Pete Wilshaw not surprised by big win over Cheshire

Staffordshire's Pete Wilshaw says he was not surprised by their comfortable win to open the competitive season when beating Cheshire at home.

Wilshaw was speaking after putting on 179 alongside Dan Brierley, the pair hitting 110 and 73* respectively, as Staffs defeated Cheshire by 50 runs.

The victory in their first game of the season gives them an ideal start in the 45-over Unicorns trophy competition, in which Staffs are in Group 2.
