Vanessa interviewed Michael Goldman, owner and convention promoter for Motor City Comic Con about the upcoming event at Suburban Collection Showplace, the weekend of May 13th. They talked about the history of Motor City Comic Con, how it first started and for those who haven't been to one before, what they can expect to see. Motor City Comic Con is Michigan’s largest pop-culture event gathering people of all ages, young to adult. This year’s 27th annual event will feature more comic and media guests than ever before with more than 50,000 guests expected to attend. They discussed who usually attends the event, some of the highlights from past events and what makes this event so successful, year after year. Attendees can meet the writers who created their favorite comics, the illustrators who drew their favorite characters and the actors who brought them to life. Motor City Comic Con will also have a variety of pop-culture merchandise available for purchase. Finally, they highlighted some of the favorite moments from past events.
