4th Grade Field Trip Reminders (Tuesday Night)

Here are a few reminder for this week’s 4th grade overnight field trip to the Twin Cities.

We leave Thursday morning, May 12th. The buses leave at 7:30am. We have updated times from the Science Museum so this time is a little earlier than previously communicated. Students can start arriving Thursday morning at 7:15, go directly to their classes.

Bring two bag lunches with water and healthy food and snacks. One for the trip down and one for the trip back. Please no soda pop, gatorade, or high sugar or energy type drinks. A sturdy closable water bottle would be a great idea!

All medications need to be dropped off with the school nurse. Please do so ASAP with Nurse Glenda. We will have very little to no time to go through them Thursday.

Dress warm and in layers. It’s predicted to be partly cloudy and in the 60’s.

You’ll get one more call Wednesday night with last minute reminders.

Students should arrive back Friday at the school between 1:00 and 2:00pm. If at all possible plan to pick children up. They’ll have a lot of gear and they’ll be tired. We’ll send out an instant alert phone call when we leave the Cities with a better estimate of our arrival time.
