4th Grade Science Museum (Wednesday Night Call)

Here are a couple last minute reminders for tomorrow’s 4th grade overnight field trip to the Twin Cities.

We leave tomorrow morning (Thursday, May 12th) right away at 7:30am. Students can start arriving as early as 7:15 and should go directly to their classes. We will load the buses as soon as possible and plan to get on the road ASAP.

Kids should bring a sleeping bag, toothbrush, toothpaste, and comfortable shoes (lots of walking!).

Students are responsible for their own money, devices, and personal items.

The rest of this list went out last night but are still good reminders.

Bring two bag lunches with water and healthy food and snacks. One for the trip down and one for the trip back. Please no soda pop, gatorade, or high sugar or energy type drinks. A sturdy closable water bottle would be a great idea!

All medications should have been dropped off with the school nurse. If not, come in right away at 7:15. We have very little time to go through these and get the proper info together.

Dress warm and in layers. It’s predicted to be partly cloudy and in the 60’s.

Students should arrive back Friday at the school between 1:00 and 2:00pm. If at all possible plan to pick children up. They’ll have a lot of gear and they’ll be tired. We’ll send out an instant alert phone call when we leave the Cities with a better estimate of our arrival time.
