President Yoweri Museveni, is sworn into office for a new five year term, amid concerns about a ‘divided country that needs urgent efforts at unity,’ a political scientist and anthropologist in Kampala has said.
Speaking to the Breakfast show on Radio Miraya, Prof Fredrick Goloba Mutebi, acknowledged that despite the great strides achieved in the quality of government, Uganda is seriously divided now.
“Uganda is seriously divided now, almost as divided as when President Museveni came to power thirty – years ago, and I don’t think this is in the interest of anybody. My interest would be that President Museveni does everything to leave a more united country when he eventually goes,”said Prof. Goloba an an exclusive interview with the Breakfast show host David Lukan.
