North Coast First Nation to ban mining on remote island

Banks Island is home to the Yellow Giant Gold mine. But after environmental damage to the island, the province shut down Yellow Giant. The company that owns the mine, Banks Island Gold, went bankrupt. And now the mine site remains untouched since it was shut. We speak with Gitxaala First Nation environmental coordinator James Witzke about why his community will no longer accept mining on the remote island.
