Consumers Are Keeping the Economy Out of Recession

We're coming up on four straight quarters of shrinking earnings. Mark Luschini, chief investment strategist at Janney Montgomery Scott, tells the Wall Street Journal that this would usually indicate a recession. But he says consumers have helped us avoid one.
