Kidnapped Mexican Soccer Star Rescued

Mexican soccer player Alan Pulido, kidnapped Sunday in the country's northern state of Tamaulipas, was rescued after several hours in captivity, officials said early Monday morning.

A statement from the Tamaulipas division of Mexico's security forces said Pulido was rescued shortly before midnight, the Associated Press reported.
