Stage 3 of the Aviva Women’s Tour heads from Ashbourne via Buxton, Baslow and Matlock over to the finish in Chesterfield (Friday 17th June). Talking to High Peak and Ashbourne Radio before the race, up and coming British cyclist Jessie Walker said this year’s hillier route shows that women’s cycling is being taken more seriously.
