Vanessa spoke with Grace Derocha, Registered dietician, certified diabetes educator and certified health coach at BCBS of Michigan. Vanessa and Derocha discussed how mothers could implement their child into their workout routines and how they could make exercise fun for the kids as well. Derocha explained that simple task such as making a healthy meal or snack with your child goes a long way to creating healthier eating habits. Vanessa also spoke with Derocha about the rise of type 2 diabetes in children and how parents could spot the signs of early onset diabetes. Grace Derocha loves helping others learn how to live a healthier and happier lifestyle. Grace was born and raised in Michigan and is a wife, mother, Sparta and avid Detroit sports fan.
