Army to cooperate with the public over rape accusations

The Army spokesperson has said the SPLA does not condone acts of rape and has appealed to the public, to provide evidence that will help trace soldiers accused of rape.
The plea by the army spokesperson, Brigadier Lul Ruai comes after relative calm in Juba, was tainted by fresh accusations of rape leveled against men in uniform.
"The law will determine the kind of punishment that will be given to soldiers accused of rape" - Army Spokesperson said in a short interview with Radio Miraya's Alex Agole.
