Transportation advocate supports vehicle mileage tax for Connecticut

Jim Cameron, a long time transportation advocate for Connecticut, and former NBC news director, supports a vehicle mileage tax for Connecticut. VMT, which taxes vehicles by the miles driven, has been a controversial proposal. Cameron, supports such a tax, as part of an overall package to upgrade Connecticut's decaying transportation infrastructure. At the very least, he says, it should be an election year debate.
