Hunger and economic hardships have driven Ugandan traders out of Torit town of Imotong region.

Many Ugandan traders packed up their belongings and are waiting for security clearance and escorts to begin their journey home.

Majority of the traders who spoke to Radio Miraya said they are concerned about their safety and acknowledged that it's becoming increasingly difficult for them to do business in Torit.
