South Sudan's First Vice President Given 48 - Hour ultimatum to return to Juba

President Salva Kiir has given the first vice President, Riek Machar, a 48-hour ultimatum to return to Juba.

According to the ultimatum issued in a statement on Thursday, President Kiir, said he wants his vice president to either return to Juba within 48-hours which runs out on Saturday, or establish contact with him so that he assures the president when he will be coming to Juba.

Speaking to Miraya Breakfast show, Aten Wek Aten, the Presidential spokesperson, said the presence of the first Vice President in Juba, is crucial for the renewed efforts to implement the peace agreement.
