Stock-outs of antiretroviral medicines have continued to plague health facilities in Ezo county, Western Equatoria region, after a major accessible route to the county was blocked by a group of armed men.

Health authorities sounded the alarm last week about a lack of the much needed lifesaving drugs, but one week after, the situation has not changed and the patients are increasingly becoming desperate.

Speaking to Miraya Breakfast Show, Augustine Andrew Kusungura, Ezo County Health director, said health facilities had completely run out of stocks and the patients are desperate.
