The Woodwind Ghosts of Bank Tube Station

"‘The woodwind ghosts of bank tube station' was developed using the classic cut-up technique found in literature, harnessing the existing real-time field recording and twisting it to produce a glitched and bent other-world sound. Several versions of this track were created expressing a variety of pitches as well as reverb levels with some delay, then disassembled and reassembled at different volumes to affect a ghostly auditory presence. This produces a sense of real-world movement while creating a horror soundtrack feeling. The track was conceived after reading about ghosts in the tubes and was inspired in part by the tale of the black nun."
