A mum from Nottinghamshire has described the county's school admissions system as a farce. Katie Thornycroft from Sutton-in-Ashfield has been told her 4 year old son can't go to the same school as his two older sisters because schools no longer have to accept siblings of pupils if they live outside the catchment area.
