Cash Hailey powered Pacific Northwest at the plate and on the hill Thursday, willing Pacific Northwest to a 5-2 victory over New England.

Hailey got on base two times in the game for Pacific Northwest. He doubled in the fifth inning.

New England's lineup had no answer for Hailey. Hailey held New England hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two. Myles Mayovsky recorded the win for Pacific Northwest. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Kailan O'Dell was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

Pacific Northwest went up for good in the first, scoring one run on an RBI single by Ben Johnson.

Pacific Northwest built upon its lead with two runs in the second. A scored Kayden Mitchel to get Pacific Northwest on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Simeon Howard's single, bringing home Ayden Knapik.

After pushing across one run in the top of the third, New England faced just a 3-1 deficit. A fielder's choice fueled New England's comeback. Finally, Mayovsky got Cole Dickinson to strike out to end the threat.

It didn't take long for Pacific Northwest to answer as it scored one run of its own in the third. Pacific Northwest scored on a wild pitch.

A one-run fifth inning helped bring New England within two. A groundout by O'Dell gave New England life. The New England threat came to an end when Mayovsky finally got Dickinson to ground out.

Pacific Northwest answered New England's top inning with one run of its own in the fifth. Pacific Northwest scored on an RBI double by Gage Ackerman.
