Daydreaming in Baker Street station

"Most of the sounds are build by using parts of the original field recording as base material. The different pads in the first part of the piece are build from resonant frequencies that are audible when the train stops at the platform. These are combined with a sample from the original field recording where you can hear people walk around and talk, which gives it sort of altered reality feeling. This is boosted by processing the voice of the announcements. The second part is build on the basis of the audio cue/ beeps that can be heard when train doors open/close, which by various processing methods is transformed into noisey textured drones. Different harmonies emerge from the noise which reminded me of a combination of the different frequencies that arise from the noise a train engine produces and the sound police sirens make."
