Kilburn Park's story

Kilburn Park reimagined by Canis Arboris.

"I composed the piece in my usual way - the field recording was a core around which I wound the rest of the structure. I weaved in some synth sounds and a distorted guitar, appearing from a distance at some point. This is my approach to working with such recordings. Most of the time I am inspired by the atmosphere of recording and I try to figure out the way to extend naturally the sounds that exist there or how to express the sounds that I hear in my head when I listen to a given location. I also try, rather unconsciously I think, to make a track evolve like a story."
