Aug 09, 2016, 07:00 AM

In Episode 3 of "The '86 Celtics Interviews" podcast, we hear from one of the greatest centers in NBA history, Robert Parish.

In Part 1 of this episode, "The Chief" talks about the addition of Bill Walton, and how it specifically helped him become a better player to play everyday in practice against him. Walton also taught Parish about "The Grateful Dead", who had him "shaking his little butt" during a concert in Worcester.

Plus, Parish, Bird and McHale were all great players, but their personalities were very different. How did it make for such a successful trio?

Make sure and download Part 2 to hear about the Celtics playoff run, including strategy against a young Michael Jordan, and what then Bucks coach Don Nelson said to really anger and motivate Parish in the conference finals.
