Examiners go on strike

More than 400 examiners hired by the ministry of education to mark the South Sudan secondary examinations have gone on strike, demanding payments of their entitlements.

The strike now in its 6th day could delay the release of the much expected examinations results.

Deng Benjamin secretary of examination markers says they downed their tools after the ministry of education and finance failed clear their dues, including feeding, transport and accommodation allowances. Deng spoke with Miraya Breakfast show host, Sani Martin
