Convicted drug smuggler Michaella McCollum is back in Ireland. The 23-year-old from Dungannon has arrived back after being released from a Peru prison earlier this year. But how should society treat her? Shun her? Give her a warm welcome home? Leave her alone to get on with her life? The DUP's Lord Morrow has claimed she's getting publicity like a minor celebrity. He says "The focus should be on the victims of drug abuse in our society and not those who contributed to their harm." Columnist Suzanne Breen writing in the Belfast Telegraph today claims McCollum's story "sends out the wrong message to young people".
