Traffic flagger killed even as safety for profession improves
RCMP is investigating the death of flagger at a construction site in Prince George yesterday.
The incident took place around six-am in the Hart neighbourhood.
There are still few details that explain what happened.
But it does come at a time when safety is improving, according to the BC Flaggers Association.
We speak to president Tammy Sampson. But before that, we hear from Sarina Hanschke, a former traffic controller who says there are 600 near misses each day on B.C.'s roads.
