Ryan Lochte would rather be prosecuted than banned from swimming in the Olympics, he said in a new interview.

The 12-time Olympic medalist was asked which scenario would be “worse” in his eyes when stopped by a TMZ photographer at a Los Angeles airport Monday. "I think if the USOC says I can’t swim anymore, I think that would be the most hurtful just because I put so much time and effort into this sport,” Lochte said. “That would be heartbreaking.
