UNHCR Praises Uganda's inspirational model for Refugees

With close to 100,000 arrivals, the UN Refugee agency - UNHCR says Uganda has become the largest host of South Sudanese refugees in the region.

Wrapping up his two day visit to the country, UNHCR Chief, Fillipo Grandi, praised Uganda for its inspirational model for refugees.

"South Sudanese refugees are welcome, given land, rights, freedoms, and the best opportunities to utilize their talents and skills to become independent," said Charles Yaxley, UNHCR Spokesperson in Uganda.
