Health agencies team together to try and prevent opioid overdose deaths

Health officials say 7,000 opioid prescriptions are filled in Utah every single day. McKay-Dee Hospital unveiled a new chandelier made from prescription bottles to show how many pills are handed out on a daily basis. Health officials want a better discussion between doctors and patients about the potential for pain killer addiction before the prescriptions are written.
