4MK's Perko spoke to Keith Payne VC as they left Long Tan disappointed

Yesterday was to have been the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan in Vietnam and over 1000 Australians went to pay their respects. On Wednesday, the Vietnamese government suddenly advised there would be no ceremony but negotiations overnight achieved an outcome of sorts, but never filtered down to the local police officers on site, so Keith Payne VC and many others left very disappointed.
