The Tom Maynard Legacy

Tom Maynard played for Glamorgan and Surrey and was tipped as a future England Test cricketer, but he died at an early age in tragic circumstances.

Now the Tom Maynard Trust, set up in his memory, looks to give opportunities to bright young players in cricket and beyond.

Holly Lindsay went along to the Tom Maynard Trust annual cricket day on the outskirts of Cardiff to find out more from Tom’s father Matthew – himself a former Test cricketer – and Tom’s friends and former colleagues.
