Saga 105.7 launch - 2001

The first in the stable of regional stations owned by Saga came on air in 2001 in the West Midlands. The network was to grow into the East Midlands and to Scotland too, each carrying localised programmes. Whilst a licence was to be awarded in the North East too, it would never come on air under the Saga name.
