MLA Jenny Palmer apologises for Facebook ‘joke’ about immigrants

Ulster Unionist Jenny Palmer has said she had been attempting a joke, but accepted it could easily have been misinterpreted as a racist comment. Ms Palmer has said it 'in no way represented her views'. The UUP politician, who was elected to the Assembly earlier this year, made the remark on Facebook over the weekend.
