The Maridi Health Science Institute has organised a quiz for students, to raise their awareness about HIV/AIDS. Six schools will take part in the competition on Saturday the 17th of September.
Western Equatoria has the highest prevalence rate in South Sudan, estimated at 3.75%, that's according to a 2009 survey.
Peter Garang, the Student Coordinator of the Maridi peer project says the quiz aims to eliminate misconceptions and discourage risky behaviours among the youth.
He spoke to Sebit William in this interview.
