The Washington Redskins already had a lot of respect for the Dallas Cowboys’ rushing attack based on what they know about their previous meetings, and the potential rookie Ezekiel Elliott boasts. But they’re also bracing for a highly motivated Alfred Morris, who makes his return to FedEx Field as a member of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Morris broke into the league as a sixth-round pick of Washington’s in 2012, and rushed for 1,613 yards and 13 touchdowns that year. Morris topped the 1,000-yard mark in each of the next two seasons, then saw his workload decrease last season upon the arrival of Matt Jones. Morris finished with 751 rushing yards, averaging 3.7 yards per carry, and one touchdown (all career lows).
