Solihull woman launches refuge house for fellow domestic abuse victims

A West Midlands woman who nearly died in an attack by her former partner, is to set up a retreat to change victims' lives.

Alison Ward, from Solihull, was stabbed in front of her young son over twenty years ago.

Now she's establishing the Butterfly Haven in Coventry to give respite to those in similar position. It aims to offer beautiful homes for motivated people willing to overcome their issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder.
