Time's Delight

Oct 16, 2011, 12:55 AM

Dedicated: To those struggling with their faith Upon a road of freewill searching for serenity To calm the fears from the silence of the night

Beyond this breathless moonlit sky Amassed around a comic sigh Lies the stars shinning bright Wonders grazing which sparks the night

Caressing the fabric of time’s delight Allows the viewpoint we think is right Entwining virtues, one holds so tight The total investment of our might

In life we walk upon a road Free to decide how heavy the load The good the bad the in between What we’ll carry and what to wean

In my ponder towards this sight I seek the answer to this plight To lessen the pack which binds my will? Before it’s time to meet the chill

Is there a God is he so certain If I ask, will he lift this burden? Inside my fears lines remorse Will he be able to change this course?

Am I too old to steer new ways Does hope exists within his rays If I commit my soul to him Will he heal these pains of sin?

So I shall turn towards his son For I am weary of this run I pray forgiveness from this strife I asked the Lord to anew this life

To fill my soul with lasting peace To guide my heart to his retreat Keeping me in his saving grace I reach to touch his loving face
