SPLA: Progress made in identification of cantonment sites

A workshop on transitional security arrangements called by the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC) concluded in Juba on Thursday.

It was revealed during the meeting that the government had made progress in the identification of cantonment sites for forces of the SPLA-IO.

Three have been approved in Greater Equatoria and the remaining 2 are yet to be identified in Bahr el-Ghazal.

Army Spokesperson Brig Lul Ruai spoke to Sebit William about the cantonment sites and other outcomes of the workshop.
