Jerry McGill (Jerome) and Dalton Conley grew up next to one another in a tough area of the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the 1980's. Dalton's family lived in public subsidized housing, which sat in the middle of a block of project housing, where Jerry lived. The two became friends.
On January 1, 1982 a random and senseless act would transform both of their lives. This is their story.
