The Bureau of Land Management says someone stole new signs at Negro Bill Canyon, just days after they were placed there. The signs renamed the trailhead after William Grandstaff, using the historical figure's proper name instead of the controversial nickname. Grandstaff was a black cowboy who frequented the canyon in the 1870s.
