The show talks about the clown stories that have been popping up around college campuses. Barry questions people who would dress up as scary clowns in the first place. Halloween is on the horizon and Barry brings up how he approaches candy and the holiday. The guys dive into some college football action with Tennessee and Texas A&M coming up this weekend. Barry believes Tennessee will pull the upset and Joel disagrees. Joel brings up preseason Rockets basketball and also talks about this post-season without the Astros. The guys agree that Houston fans are passionate and intelligent but question their love of sports in general. Joel believes it is hard to find native Houstonians. Joel and Barry talk about the start of the MLB postseason with wild-card match-ups. Joel does not believe that teams should play 162 games just to settle for a one game playoff. Instead, Joel believes a best of 3 series would make it seem more fair and worth it. The guys talk about Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his poor sportsmanship in the Bills match-up. Joel and Barry believe Bill he wants to be a good winner, he needs to become a good loser.
