President Kiir tours Juba, assures citizens of his commitment to peace

President Salva Kiir is asking the public to remain calm. The President visited areas of Gudele, Kator, Juba town and Malekia in an open motorcade today and assured the people of his commitment to peace.

President Kiir also passed his condolences to the relatives of the victims of the tragic bus attacks that claimed lives along the Juba-Yei and Juba-Nimule roads.

The President spoke to journalists after the tour.
