Belfast City Council scraps free Christmas parking. Was it the right move?

Free parking in Belfast City Centre at Christmas has been given the red light! Councillors voted to scrap the scheme last night after calls from Translink who say it caused traffic problems last year. Cheaper rail and bus fares will be offered in its place to try and get shoppers to use public transport. But was it the right move?
