Why Nigerian Government should promote mass use of "Rechargeable Lamp"

It is now about one Month that President Mohammadu Buhari joined other World leaders to sign the historic Paris Climate Agreement.

Since then, Climate enthusiasts have been waiting anxiously on Federal government’s plans of action based on the country’s commitment to reducing “Green House gas emissions unconditionally by 20 per cent and conditionally by 45 per cent.”.

However, experts feel the government has numerous tested solutions to adopt including the use of Renewable energy sources over fossil fuel, tree planting, and mass use of energy saving devices.

In this special report, correspondent Innocent Onoh takes a look at the environmental, health and economic benefits of rechargeable lamp which is already gaining grounds among the masses of the country, especially women traders in Lagos State.
