Crews have started dismantling the "Jungle" migrant camp in Calais, France, the Associated Press reports.
Roughly 1,900 migrants left the slum voluntarily on Monday to travel to other centers across France, as more than 1,200 police and government officials descended on the camp to begin the process of tearing it down. This followed clashes over the weekend between migrants and officers, with authorities firing tear gas into the crowds to restore order.
