Laura Chiverton reports from the tragic scene in Birmingham where an 8 year-old boy and a 6 year-old girl have died following a suspicious house fire in the Hamstead area of the city.

We speak exclusively to friends of the family who are clearly distraught by what has happened.

Their father is critically ill in hospital after he was found in a burning car in Newcastle-under-Lyme this morning .

West Midlands police tells us they aren't looking for anyone else.
