How to shift this. While there's no reason to share your goal with people you meet on the subway, it is very important that you feel free and comfortable sharing it with friends or like-minded people (such as would be at this seminar). The more you voice your desires, the clearer you make it to the universe that this "is" something you want. Even more than our parents, the Universe listens to "how we say it" instead of to "what we say." So make sure you are confident about making your dream a reality. In my opinion, one of the biggest reasons we fail to manifest our desire is that we get caught up in "how" it's going to come to us. We are bound by our limited understanding to see only a few possible ways in which our goals become real. The fact is that there are umpteen ways for us to get what we want, and only someone with a bigger brain (hint, hint) can see all those possibilities.

How to shift this. Begin by remembering that is our job to figure out "what" we want and God's job to figure out "how". In the same way that you don't want anyone else figuring out the "what" for you, God doesn't need your help in figuring out the "how". So, relax and trust in the process. Remember, you and God are co-creators of your life! Wanting something that evokes no feeling in you has a statistically low possibility of coming into fruition. That is just one of the realities of the manifestation procedure. It is critical that you link as many of your senses to the vision as possible. For example, for a new car, how it feels to glide onto the leather seats, how the air sounds as it rushes by your open window, how lovely the tone of the horn, the smell of a new car, the peaceful scent of the country roads you see yourself traveling. As I reread the last sentence, I started getting a real feel for what it would be like to be in a new car, and that's not even on my personal list of current goals! I hope it worked like that for you too.
