Father Liam Merrigan on the Monasterevin Parish Mission 2016

Father Liam Merrigan joined Brenda Drumm on Sunday 6 November to chat about the Monasterevin Parish Mission which begins on Sunday 13 November.

The theme of the Mission is “Come as You Are” and it runs from Sunday 13th Novemeber to Friday 18th November.

Morning Mass will be celebrated each morning of the Mission at 7am and 10am and evening services will take place at 7.30pm.

The Mission is open to all and to people of all ages.

Schedule of events is as follows: Sunday 13th November Blessing of babies and young children 11.30am Mass Remembering the dead, assembling in St Evins Cemetery at 6.30 and procession to the Parish Church with lighted candles for 7.30pm

Monday 14th November A Celebration of Community Life, Parish Church 7.30pm

Tuesday 15th November Celebrating Home and Family, Parish Church 7.30pm

Wednesday 16th November Mass for the sick, elderly and infirm, anointing of the sick, Parish Church 3pm Celebration of Healing and Forgiveness, Parish Church 7.30pm All night vigil, Our Lady’s Chapel

Thursday 17th November God in our lives in challenging times, Parish Church 7.30pm

Friday 18th November Celebrate faith with our young people, Parish Church 7.30pm
